Jacksonville Metropolitan Area

This area is  also known as the First Coast, it is comprised on of 6 counties Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam & St Johns., Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Ponte Vedra, St Augustine, & St Johns.

It is home to sport teams of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL football, Jacksonville Icemem  hockey team, and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp NiLB. 

Area military installations such as Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport, Kings Bay Naval Base, Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville and Marine Corps Blount Island Command provide employment to thousands of active duty, reserve and civilian men and women.

Ponte Vedra in home of the PGA Headquarters and The Players Championship Sawgrass, one of the most prestigious golf competitions in the USA. Northeast Florida is home to 68 publicly accessible courses, including over a dozen in and around Jacksonville, Florida. 

With 1,100 miles of navigable water, Jax has more shoreline than any other city in the nation. The St Johns River cuts through the middel of our area making it a great place to own several types of boats.
